Menstrual Dignity for Refugee Women_Q4 Report

December 2025

Dear GlobalGiving Community,

Menstrual health support is often one of the first needs to be overlooked when families are displaced by conflict or disaster, yet it remains essential to dignity, safety, and well-being. Thanks to your generosity, 2025 has been a year of meaningful impact for refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and communities navigating crisis.

From January through December 2025, Days for Girls reached 31,346 refugees, IDPs, and individuals affected by disasters across 26 countries. Each DfG Kit delivered provides more than menstrual supplies — it brings comfort, restores confidence, and offers a sense of stability when daily life is uncertain.

This year’s reach includes:

  • Chad – 10,303 reached
  • Burundi – 1,242 reached
  • Jamaica– 4,968 reached in response to Hurricane Melissa
  • Jordan – 1,242 reached
  • Lebanon – 900 reached (North Lebanon, Akkar, and Tripoli)
  • Uganda – 1,500 reached in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement
  • Ukraine – 2,659 reached
  • United States – 2,803 reached
  • Cambodia – 828 displaced Cambodians reached due to the Thai-Cambodian border conflict

Across these regions, our teams, many of whom include women from refugee and host communities, provided DfG Kits along with vital menstrual health education. These sessions offer practical knowledge, promote health and hygiene, and create safe spaces for conversation and empowerment.

In Uganda’s Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, girls and women shared how receiving washable, long-lasting menstrual supplies alleviates both financial strain and emotional distress. One young participant told us that having her own kit means she can "attend school confidently, without worry or shame." Similar stories echo throughout our work in Lebanon, Chad, and Cambodia, where ongoing crises continue to disrupt access to basic necessities.

Thanks to you, menstrual health is not forgotten in these challenging environments. Your support allows DfG to respond quickly, partner with local organizations, and reach communities who are often underserved in humanitarian response.

As conflicts, displacement, and climate-driven emergencies persist globally, the need for sustainable menstrual health solutions remains urgent. And yet, time and again, you’ve shown that compassion can cross borders.

On behalf of the entire Days for Girls team, thank you for standing with us and with the women and girls we serve. Your partnership ensures that dignity, health, and hope continue to reach those who need it most.

With deep gratitude,

The Days for Girls Team
