By Julie Wang | Chairman, Board of Directors, Bio-Benin
Ghislain, Benjamin and Aimée, three of Bio-Benin's latest graduates in culinary arts, proudly display their certification from the government -- proof that after three years of intense training with us they are expert cooks in French, Moroccan and African cuisine.
All have jobs, thanks to Bio-Benin. Ghislain, impressive with his adaptation from a simple village background to big city life, will be working at a restaurant in Cotonou, Benin's largest city. Benjamin will be closer to home, working in Djougo, a large town near Natitingou. Aimée, always the entrepreneur, will be openining her own restaurant in Natitingou, where she will continue to receive mentoring from Guillaume.
With your help, Bio-Benin is helping solve one of Africa's most intractable problems -- lack of job opportunities. Thanks to your involvement, we can all take pride in helping make the world a safer place by empowering these young people to lead productive lives and live in dignity.
