Dear Donors,
Thank you for your generous support toward improving mobility for women farmers in rural Nigeria. Your kindness recognizes the daily burden these women carry as they move produce from farms to markets under difficult conditions.
In many rural communities, women walk long distances with heavy loads because transport options are limited or too costly. Poor roads and lack of vehicles cause crops to spoil before reaching buyers, reducing income and discouraging farm expansion. This project will provide tricycles to women farmers’ cooperatives to ease the movement of goods and people. The tricycles will reduce post-harvest losses, save time, and allow farmers to reach better markets. Training on safe riding, maintenance, and cooperative management will help ensure responsible use and shared benefit.
At this time, the donation received will not be able to start the project yet. Additional support is required before tricycles can be purchased and distributed. We kindly invite you to share or support this initiative.
