Postponing our 2020 Trees for Tribes program

Dear friends,

We at the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation are saddened that we have had to postpone our 2020 fruit tree planting and distribution projects with the Bay Mills Indian Community due to the COVID19 crisis. However, these wonderful projects, including orchard plantings at the community college farm, a historic orchard, and the tribal child development center, have been rescheduled for the spring of 2021. We are dedicated to this community and to bringing the environmental, cultural, and nutritional benefits of fruit trees to their people and lands.

In the meantime, FTPF is busy working to fundraise for more Trees for Tribes projects around the country. We have several new exciting projects in the works and look forward to providing you with more details as those orchards come to fruition.

To a fruitful future for all people,

The FTPF team
