Dear friend,
Thank you for showing interest in this meaningful effort. No donations have been received yet, but we remain hopeful. The idea behind this work is simple — to create a learning exchange between mental health professionals in the United States and Nigeria using online sessions.
Mental health care in Nigeria still faces serious shortages of trained professionals, with many people unable to access counseling or psychiatric care when they need it most. Through virtual training and mentorship, Nigerian clinicians will have the chance to learn practical methods for assessment, therapy, and crisis response directly from experienced specialists abroad.
We have already mapped out participating hospitals and professionals willing to contribute their time to the sessions once funds become available. Your support will help cover data access, software tools, and coordination so that learning can begin smoothly.
Together, we can build a bridge of knowledge that strengthens mental health care for those who need it most.
Warm regards,
Ugbede Ojo Dominic Kadiri
