Dear Donor,
Thanks to your generous support, we continue encouraging communities to recognize concerning symptoms and report illness promptly rather than waiting for conditions to become severe.
Early reporting gives health authorities a better opportunity to investigate alerts, arrange appropriate care, identify potential contacts, and reduce opportunities for further transmission.
Our awareness activities emphasize the importance of seeking guidance from qualified health workers when someone develops symptoms consistent with Ebola, particularly if there has been possible exposure.
The importance of early detection remains clear in the current DRC outbreak. WHO has identified delayed detection as a continuing challenge that can increase transmission within households, communities, and healthcare facilities.
Your contribution is helping communities understand that early action can protect both individuals and those around them.
