A lot of thanks to our supporters, and here is our latest report on our project.
What would you do if danger were hidden beneath your feet?
In rural Laos, unexploded ordnance (UXO) is still a daily threat. Children grow up surrounded by invisible danger—objects buried in the ground that can take lives in an instant.
This February, our UXO Risk Education project entered its final year.
In a remote village, two hours from the nearest town, we met children living side by side with this. Just days before our visit, a villager found UXO while hunting in the forest.
So how do we protect children?
We go beyond teaching knowledge—we build instinct.
Through songs and dance, children learn to react immediately:
Stop
Recognise danger
Tell an adult
Because in a real moment, hesitation can cost a life.
This approach turns awareness into a life-saving reflex—just like earthquake drills teach children to act without thinking.
Thanks to your support, this education is now taking root within the community.
In this final year, we are committed to ensuring this knowledge becomes sustainable—so children can protect themselves long after the project ends.
Will you help us protect their future?
