The VI Children's Museum may be closed at the moment, but we will never stop serving our community! Since 2017 we have been gifting books to children ages 0-5 as an affiliate of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program. This program is more important than ever, and we will be promoting it in new ways this year. In providing books for the family home we strive to inspire, educate and support the youth of the Virgin Islands.
Families in the U.S. Virgin Islands are experiencing life under a stay-at-home order from the Governor. Financial stain and limited access to educational experiences requires community outreach that can safely and effectively enter the home.
The Virgin Islands Children's Museum has closed for now, but we will continue to be a cherished resource in our community. We will continue to provide and expand Dolly Parton's Imagination Library in our area. Children ages 0-5 will receive a book in the mail each month at no charge to them.
With Virgin Islands schools currently closed, families need to provide children with engaging books and activities. By providing this enrichment, we will make sure our youngest generation continues to Explore, Play, Discover.
