A Promising Future for Children In Medellin

We conducted a workshop with our youth on sexually transmitted diseases, led by medical students from the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia. This preventive exercise was aimed at the adolescents in our program, promoting the use of protection mechanisms during sexual activities. The workshop provided essential knowledge on the various types of sexually transmitted diseases, their symptoms, and the importance of early detection and treatment. It also emphasized the role of safe practices and protective measures in preventing the spread of these diseases. The initiative was well-received, reinforcing our commitment to the health and well-being of the adolescents we serve, and empowering them with the tools to make informed decisions.

The Corporation Pueblo de los Niños, in compliance with its commitment to transparency, has presented its Public Social Accountability Report to the Colombian Confederation of NGOs. This report details the achievements, progress, and challenges faced over the past year, highlighting the efficient management of resources and the positive impact on the child community. The donations received go directly to programs that improve the lives of children and adolescents at psychosocial risk. The presentation reaffirms the Corporation's dedication to transparency and accountability, strengthening the trust of partners, donors, and beneficiaries. The Corporation Pueblo de los Niños continues its work for the well-being and integral development of Colombian children, ensuring that every contribution makes a difference in the lives of those most in need.
