Connecting Brazilian Slum Residents to Resources

Dear Donoors, 

In the first quarter of 2023, the Vision Project took its first steps towards addressing the challenges faced by the Rocinha, the largest low-income community in Brazil. We identified issues such as lack of access to technology and inequality in digital education. In response to these issues, we began implementing the Vision solution, a digital platform that aims to democratize access to information and technological resources in the favela.

During this quarter, we focused our efforts on mapping the needs of Rocinha residents and establishing strategic partnerships with local NGOs and technology companies. We conducted field research and meetings with community leaders to better understand the population's demands.

The action about implementing the vision digital platform taken during January - February - March were crucial in defining the project's direction and laying the groundwork for its future development. Despite the initial challenges about ack of access to technology , we are confident that we are on the right path to creating a positive and lasting impact on the community.
