Where Math Meets the Land: Agribusiness at CORETECH!

By Jacqueline Audige | FOUNDER

At CORETECH KAMARIE, we believe education should come to life. Thanks to your support, our students aren't just learning from textbooks—they are experimenting in the fields. Our Principal and teacher, Durand David, shares a wonderful pedagogical victory:

"Agribusiness has become a source of concrete examples for my math classes. Vector concepts are illustrated by the movement of water in the gardens, while area calculations give geometry practical meaning. My students are showing a growing interest in mathematics, which they now see as a useful tool in real life."

Learning Through Perseverance

It wasn't always easy. In the first year, pests attacked the tomatoes, and the watermelons failed to sprout. But our students investigated, adapted their farming techniques, and the second year was a total success with beautiful harvests! They now truly understand that theory is vital to practical success.

Our Next Milestone: Cultivating Dignity

To ensure our future agripreneurs can continue learning in the best possible environment, our school infrastructure must also grow. Our immediate, urgent focus is constructing modern campus sanitation and restroom facilities.

Mark Your Calendars: July 15–16 Bonus Day!

We have an incredible opportunity to make your generosity go even further. CORETECH is participating in GlobalGiving’s 2026 July Bonus Day, a 24-hour crowdfunding campaign running from July 15 to July 16, 2026.

Here is how you can help us unlock maximum impact to build these facilities:

  • Double Your Impact: Every eligible donation between $100 and $1,500 made during this 24-hour window will earn us a portion of $150,000 in matching funds!
  • Unlock Bonus Prizes: Your giving helps us compete for a share of $9,000 in bonus prizes.
  • No Rush, No Risk: Unlike other campaigns, matching funds will not run out during these 24 hours! Every dollar you contribute within this window is guaranteed to help us reach our goal.

Please stay tuned for the official campaign link. Your partnership on July 15–16 will be the key to providing our students with the dignity, health, and comfort they deserve.

With sincere gratitude,

Jacqueline and the Board of Directors
