Dear friends,
Over the past days, the area surrounding Her Academy’s Tel Aviv branch was struck by a missile from Iran, causing significant damage to our building. Windows were shattered, glass filled classrooms and offices, and equipment was damaged. Thankfully, no one was physically harmed, but the space that serves as a safe haven for our students has been deeply impacted.
And yet, in the midst of this disruption, something extraordinary happened.
Within hours, students began reaching out - asking how they could help. Women who, until recently, struggled to leave their homes due to fear and trauma, came forward to clean, repair, and restore the very space that has supported them in rebuilding their lives.
This is what Her Academy means to them. It is not just a place of learning, it is a community, a source of stability, and often the only anchor they have.
At the same time, the broader reality is becoming increasingly difficult. Many of our students, especially single mothers, refugees, and women without legal status, are facing acute financial and emotional strain. With schools closed, unstable work conditions, and limited access to safety nets, even basic needs have become a challenge.
In response, we have mobilized emergency support across both our Tel Aviv and Haifa branches:
These are not long-term solutions, but they are critical lifelines in a moment of instability.
Even in the most difficult circumstances, our commitment remains unchanged: to walk alongside each woman, ensuring that crisis does not undo the progress she has worked so hard to achieve.
Your support makes this possible.
Thank you for standing with us, and with the women who continue, even now, to choose resilience, growth, and hope.
With gratitude,
Her Academy Team
