Introduction

The Al Ehsan Charitable Foundation Nepal is a dedicated non-profit organization working tirelessly to uplift underprivileged communities across Nepal. Guided by the principles of compassion, equity, and sustainability, our mission is to empower marginalized groups through impactful programs that address critical needs like access to clean water, food security, environmental conservation, and social empowerment. This report summarizes our accomplishments, challenges, and vision for the future in 2024.

    • Installed 74 water pumps, providing clean drinking water to 8,000 individuals across 20 villages.
    • Reduced waterborne diseases and improved the quality of life for vulnerable communities.
  2. Winter Warmth

    • Distributed 25 sets of warm clothing and heating materials to 25 needy families during the harsh winter months.
    • Protected vulnerable individuals, including children and the elderly, from extreme cold.
  3. Tree Planting

    • Planted 200 trees in community spaces and degraded areas, contributing to environmental restoration and combating climate change.
    • Enhanced awareness of environmental conservation within local communities.
  4. Food Distribution

    • Provided monthly food packages to 1,000 families (benefiting 5,000 individuals) throughout the year.
    • Prioritized support for widows, orphans, and low-income households to address food insecurity.

  1. Directly impacted the lives of over 12,000 individuals through our programs.
  2. Partnered with 5 local organizations to amplify our outreach and effectiveness.
  3. Secured generous support from 100 donors, including individuals and corporations.
  4. Maintained a 90% program implementation success rate, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  5. Conducted 10 community awareness workshops on topics such as hygiene, climate action, and food security.

Challenges

  1. Funding Constraints: Limited financial resources to expand programs to more communities.
  2. Resource Shortages: Difficulty in accessing supplies and infrastructure, especially in remote areas.
  3. Climate-Related Disruptions: Unpredictable weather patterns impacting project timelines.
  4. Regulatory Compliance: Navigating complex legal and regulatory requirements.

Future Plans

  1. Expand Water4Life: Install water pumps in 100 villages, benefiting an additional 10,000 individuals.
  2. Increase Food Distribution: Double the reach to support 2,000 families (approximately 10,000 individuals) monthly.
  3. Empower Widows: Launch a Widow Empowerment Program, training and supporting 50 widows with vocational skills and economic opportunities.
  4. Vocational Training: Enhance community engagement by providing skill-based training to youth and women, creating pathways to self-sufficiency.
