Wheelchair Accessible Van for CHAT

This progress report provides an update on our ongoing fundraising efforts to acquire a wheelchair accessible vehicle for our non-profit organization. As part of our mission to help homeless individuals and families—including veterans and people with disabilities—this vehicle will significantly improve mobility and access to essential services for those we serve. CHAT is now housing over 200 individuals and preparing to build 61 fully accessible units for those with disabilities!  

Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise $35,000 to purchase a wheelchair accessible vehicle. This will help ensure that individuals with disabilities, including veterans and families experiencing homelessness, have a reliable mode of transportation as they enter our housing programs. A wheelchair accessible van would allow our residents to have greater access to transportation not only for moving into housing but for healthcare, employment opportunities, and community involvement. 

As of December 3rd, we have raised $200, representing.05% of our fundraising goal. This has been made possible by the generosity of our donors! We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all who have supported this important cause. Every donation, no matter how small, is helping us move closer to securing wheelchair accessible vehicles, which will greatly enhance the lives of individuals and families who are in need.  

This is a critical time for CHAT. We are making a huge impact on the lives of others—and helping to improve life in Chico—but we can’t do it alone.
