Dear donors, friends, and supporters,
During these difficult times due to the emerging public health issues presented by the outbreak of COVID-19, we are all facing new challenges and obstacles. We sincerely hope that your health and the health of your loved ones, friends, and colleagues has not been compromised by this pandemic. These difficult times have shown that joint action and comradery are of paramount importance and that the true value and true interest should be put on our health. Our children, those little brave souls fighting various forms of childhood cancer know how fragile health is and how important proper precautionary measures are - both disinfection and isolation.
Our donors did not forget us. They've donated hair, money, and hygienic supplies for our wig making workshop. We've collected a number of hair donations through the mail since we had to adapt our donation standards and procedures to the new epidemiological situation, avoiding social contact.
And while our little oncological patients were under special epidemiological supervision, our Mobile team was allowed to take measures for a wig in Banja Luka, which will be given to a 12-year old patient in the coming week.
We hope it will bring a smile on her face as much as the set up did. It surely did brighten our days.
