Strands of Hope, Smiles That Shine

Dear friends and supporters,

Thanks to your unwavering kindness and generosity, our wig workshop continues to be a place where hope is created, strand by strand. In this reporting period, we proudly crafted two new wigs, with one more currently in progress. With every wig we create, we give a promise — a promise of self-assurance, comfort, and dignity to those confronting illness.

The recipients come from Bihac, Jajce, and Sarajevo, showing how far-reaching your support truly is. Their ages — 12, 17, and 18 — illustrate how your help touches both teenagers and young adults during their healing journeys. The challenges they face include:

  • 1 case of alopecia

  • 1 case of sarcoma

Despite these difficult diagnoses, their courage lights the path forward for all of us.

We are happy to share that there was one wig repair during this period — a reminder of the care and attention that goes into every creation in our workshop.

An incredible 842 ponytails were donated, each one representing a powerful act of compassion.

 Hair Donation Events

This period also saw inspiring hair donation events at:

  • Vocational High School "Fojnica", Kiseljak

  • High School for Environment and Wood Design, Sarajevo

  • Megamall Tešanj Shopping Center

These events remind us that every strand carries hope, and every act of generosity strengthens the bonds of our community.

As we often say, “Every lock, every strand brings a child one step closer to restored confidence and a brighter smile.” Your support continues to change lives. Every wig made is more than just hair — it is renewed confidence, restored dignity, and a message of love and unity.

Thank you for standing with us.

Together, we bring hope to life.

With heartfelt gratitude,

SRCE Team
