Dear friends and supporters,
Thanks to your continued kindness and generosity, our wig workshop has once again been a place where hope is crafted strand by strand. In this reporting period, we proudly created nine new wigs, with two more currently in progress. Each wig carries a promise — a promise of confidence, dignity, and comfort for a child or young person bravely facing illness.
The recipients come from different parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reminding us how far-reaching your support truly is. Wigs were delivered, or are in preparation for children and young people from: Sarajevo, Lukavica (Gracanica), Banja Luka, Zenica, Tojšici (Kalesija), Teslic, and Potocani (Prnjavor)
Their ages — 5, 7, 8, 10, 10, 17, 17, 18, and 25 — illustrate just how broad the impact is, from the youngest children to young adults continuing their journey of healing. The challenges they face include:
Despite these difficult diagnoses, their courage lights the path forward for all of us.
We are happy to share that there were no wig repairs during this period — a testament to the quality and durability of every wig created with care in our workshop.
An incredible 309 ponytails were donated, each one representing a powerful act of compassion.
Hair Donation Event:
One of the most inspiring moments of this period was our large hair donation event "My hair, your hair", held on November 8th, 2025, at the Importanne Center in Sarajevo.
As we often say, “Every lock, every strand brings a child one step closer to restored confidence and a brighter smile.”
Every donated ponytail is more than material — it is a message of love, hope, and support.
This event once again showed how powerful unity can be when it comes to supporting the most vulnerable members of our society.
Your support continues to change lives. Every wig made is more than just hair — it is renewed confidence, restored dignity, and a message of love and unity.
Thank you for standing with us.
Together, we bring hope to life.
With heartfelt gratitude,
SRCE Team
