Kole Intellectual Forum transparent to Government
Almost all NGOs take up and execute projects to promote welfare of the community they work with. They work to address various concerns and issues in different fields of humanity prevailing within the society. ... And their supports are mainly drowned from donations made by individuals, corporate and institutions that are normally checked by the responsible states that they belong too.
In Uganda: in Kole District in particular, the Resident District Commissioner who is the representative of the President called for Nonprofit organizations' meetings within the district; purposely, to vet them, and approve their due diligence on a qurterly basis per year; the date for the verification was scheduled on the 2/12/2021.
Kole Intellectual Forum being among those law abiding institution and being that who is always updating its donors on the platform of GlobalGiving of what they are doing; the organization was represented at the meeting on that same by the organizational project leader in the name of Johnson (that is not his real name) putting on the red face mask at the photos above.
The organization in this report therefore, informs their supporters that: they would always remain transparent and open to them and the government of Uganda even if they ask for report or not.
