Solving local problems with the local people
‘’The world’s problems aren’t being solved fast enough because the people with the best solutions are being shut out’’ GlobalGiving (2023)
In the process of Listen, learn, act and repeat: principles of GlobalGiving those are guiding its partner – Kole Intellectual Forum – to perform; the organization activities are centered towards this principles on what it is doing, in giving reason to what it is doing (the why), in taking into the account of when to do what, and many more are circumnavigated around these principles. The organization is gaining experiences by repeating what it had done but in a fair circumstance.
When the organization (Kole Intellectual Forum) identified poor performance in public primary schools within its area of operation, the organization identified high rate of school dropouts at school, also in the same identified absent of available opportunities (potentials).
To address these, the organization has learnt from GlobalGiving that: ‘’the world’s problems aren’t being solved fast enough because the people with the best solutions are being shut out’’ GlobalGiving (2023). As you can see above, the team from Kole Intellectual Forum are generating data from the local community and from it; they are expected to devise solutions to their local problems
