A sample of quality face-mask donated
Donations of Face-masks to the Kole Government Prison by Kole Intellectual Forum (KIFA-Uganda); recieved and endorsed by Kole District Security Officer - second incharge of Kole District COVID-19 Taskforce - reference to attached Kole Intellectual Forum Delivery Note.
With a new challenge of COVID-19 and the new guidelines from CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) advocating for wearing face-mask by everybody in public places to avoid further spread of COVID-19 of new and upcoming COVID-19; given the poor living situations in African prisons, Kole Intellectual Forum, with the assistance from GlobalGiving fundraising platform, especially with the fund the organization received during November, 2021; the organization has partly allocated some fund, used for procuring material for making face-masksand they donated about 118 pieces to Kole Government Prison on 27/12/2021; of course, under the followings conditions as it has been stated by CDC, that: particularlly for this of case Kole Government Prison translated by Kole Intellectual Forum that:
- The inmates of Kole Government prison should wear face-masks consistently and appropriately; because, the information is that: any face-mask that is frequently pulled down to breathe or talk, or is worn under the nose, is not effective.
- The mask conforms to their faces without gaps — because, it is important that most of the air they breathe in and out flows through the mask rather than around the mask through gaps at the sides, top or bottom.
- The masks they donated to them were made from several layers of tightly woven fabric in order to be an effective filter.
- The masks were also made from a flexible nose bridge to conform to the face and prevent fogging of eyeglasses.
- They ensure the Face-masks stay in their fixed positions during talking and moving, so that: they can prevent the spread of diseases
- Ensure Kole Intellectual Forum provides high quality face-masks that are comfortable enough to be worn without adjusting them all the times.
Following current mask-wearing guidelines by CDC supported by Kole Intellectual Forum to Kole Government Prison with assistance from the donations from the platform of GlobalGiving is intended to stop the transmission of the pandemic (COVID-19) among the inmates at the prison

Although it is not all that easy to go by those elements of building trust; Kole Intellectual Forum, in its endeavors since it was registered by Kole District in 2016 and vetted & accelerated by GlobalGiving in 2018; the organization by all means, through its promoters adaring to the closest to those elements;
As we talk right now, the organization is number one superstar on the platform of GlobalGiving; considering to be the organization that is performing to the interest of both community and the local government where it is operating from.
There is also confident among the direct beneficiaries of the project; members of Board and staff too. All these have come to be because of the trust organization is exhibiting to these stakeholders
