Promoting real families’ project
As Kole Intellectual Forum promotes real families’ project couple with that of girl Child empowerment or self-reliance, the organization has taken the initiative to learn what is working out well in the traditional marriages, which is treated a union between two people that is always celebrated in accordance with the customs of the concern community. It is also known as a customary marriage.
How is it recognized in Uganda?
- In Uganda, customary marriage is one of four types of marriage that are recognized by the law.
- The Customary Marriage (Registration) Act defines a customary marriage as a marriage that is celebrated according to the rites of an African community.
- One of the parties to the marriage must be a member of that community.
What are the rights and duties of the partners?
- Marriage is a legally and socially sanctioned union.
- It is regulated by laws, rules, customs, beliefs, and attitudes.
- These rules prescribe the rights and duties of the partners.
- They also accord status to their offspring.
Who can marry?
- According to the Constitution of Uganda, any person above the age of 18 years can marry.

New students 2025 for KIFA have reported
The New students for the academic year 2025 for Kole Intellectual Forum KIFA have finally reported to their Institute of Home Home Economics. They are 10 in numbers although, there another group of mothers enrolled under the Real Families project.
The aim of this project is meant to promote real healthy families in Kole District, led by a question that: can this be possible? According to Kole Intellectual Forum, the answer is yes, because, Kole Intellectual Forum has identified the beneficiaries and it intends to train them with the basic knowledge of home economics that will help them to make up a workable household budget, plan and care for themselves, their children in education; and, transforming their lives from the ancient type of families to the very modern ones of real families through Home Economics and Agriculture.

According to Kole Intellectual Forum, they noted that: Giving can reintroduce friends and family to the importance of generosity. Recognizing someone who gives to charity can be a catalyst for giving to charity yourself. By giving to charity, you may well be helping to remind friends and family of causes they themselves are passionate about and would like to support.
We, at Kole Intellectual Forum are certain to report to you, our very dear donors that: “your support to the cause of our organization has made a difference in the lives of our beneficiaries!
