Meet Cohort 3: 2024-2026

Dear Friends of WC4E,

Thank you so much for helping us grow the program by supporting COHORT 3! We are thrilled to introduce the members of the Cohort to you.

To a woman, these young entrepreneurs are on the move and they are DREAMING BIG! Take Rejoice Adzivor, founder of the Learn To Read Foundation (https://learntoreadfoundation.org) which, among other things, hosts an annual essay-writing competition encouraging literacy and critical thinking among students. From its inception three years ago, the number of essay submissions has grown 400%! She aims to increase this by another 200% every year during the Fellowship. We think that’s a big deal!

And how about Kezia Sanie who as a law student “without a steady source of income, embarked on a journey driven by passion and the desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of underprivileged children.” She launched For the Future (https://ftfghana.org) “to nurture disadvantaged children into ethical leaders and give them life opportunities to unearth their full potentials irrespective of their social backgrounds.” This year they aim to reach over 7,000 children with  a range of programs including "Click4Change", which introduces AI training, digital literacy and public speaking. We think that’s exponential!

If the present predicts the future, we share a preview of what may lie ahead for these remarkable Cohort 3 Fellows. Saudautu Mohammed, (Fellow: 2020-2022) founder of Life Again  (https://lifeagaingh.org) responded to the International Day of the Girl Child challenge on October 11, 2024. With over 300 participants at an all-day event focusing on the unique challenges facing girls including reproductive halth.

We share these vignettes because you are backing winners who dream big and who are changing the world!

Watch for more updates on the 10 amazing women in Cohort 3 and our 20 Alumnae and visit our website: www.change4ed.org

In appreciation and optimism,

Constance Kane and The Women Changemakers for Education team
