WC4E empowers women who empower girls. By investing in female changemakers in Ghana, our Fellowship helps them bring quality education and resources to girls in their communities. A donation today will support our 5th Anniversary Campaign, which will: support two more Fellows (increasing each cohort's capacity by 20%!), double our small grant fund and double the grassroots impact, and establish a Fellowship Fund specifically for Alumnae, ensuring WC4E's sustainability and long-term impact
129 million girls are out of school worldwide, with 54% in crisis-affected countries. 1 in 7 girls in developing countries marries before age 15, and up to 50% become mothers by 18. In Ghana, poverty, gender inequality, and early marriage hinder girls' learning. Without education, they face limited futures, perpetuating poverty and inequality. Empowered women and educated girls hold the keys to global wellbeing. We support them.
This project equips female changemakers with the tools to expand their impact on girls' education. Funds raised through this campaign will directly support grassroots programs to keep girls in school.
WC4E equips young women leaders with skills, funding, and mentorship, creating a multiplier effect that transforms entire communities. Fellows not only expand educational opportunities for girls but also inspire future leaders, fostering generational change. Over time, their grassroots programs contribute to breaking cycles of poverty and inequality, creating a future where every girl has access to education and the opportunity to thrive.
