Over the last quarter, two new members joined the Home, and we now have all spots filled. We continue working with the group of refugee women from Ukraine, with regard to the renewal of their identification cards for foreign individuals, employability, and improvement of Spanish. Another one of the women is in the final stage of her inclusion process, obtaining her residency papers and starting to work in a residence for the elderly. Another one is actively collaborating on projects of Mensajeros de la Paz. Since then, her emotional well-being has improved, and she is more motivated in her journey toward personal autonomy. In general, every week we organise a cooking workshop where all the women participate.
We have also carried out various activities such as: Telefonica’s charitable dinner, which was attended by two of the women participants of the project, the attendance of Circlassica, a circus show organised at IFEMA, and the cultural visit to the Social Centre - Catedral Justo, a meeting place for all people regardless of their religious ideology.
