Meet Mrs. Mtslal T, a 38-year-old mother from Tigray who faced unimaginable challenges after losing her husband. Left alone to raise three children, she encountered numerous obstacles on her path to rebuilding her life. Despite her efforts to start a business, financial difficulties persisted. She experienced feelings of depression and stress, leading to withdrawal from social life and dependence on relatives.
Through our project, Mrs. Mtslal received essential business and positive parenting skills training. She embraced the opportunity, which became a turning point in her life. With newfound skills, Mrs. Mtslal now runs a thriving retail shop. She is able to feed her children daily, send them to school, and save for a brighter future. Re-engaging with her community, she inspires others with her resilience.
Mrs. Mtslal’s journey from despair to hope is a powerful reminder of the impact of self-confidence and resilience. We thank you fro your support, which enables us to help more women like Mtslal!
