This was a sad year as we received virtually no funds through this platform. We had to cultivate individual donors who were more willing to donate directly rather than pay fees to this organization. We were hoping that this platform could create a new revenue stream so us but it did not. This is coupled by a reduction in government funding as well. This project was able to serve almost 50 women but only through individual donations.
Women in Liberia continue to struggle as they are often single heads of households with children. The men have deserted the women and the women lack the skills and resources to conduct their own business. Our orogram provides them with both the tools and the education needed to be successful and support their families.
