Give Dignity: Hygiene for Women and Girls
When Basic Hygiene Becomes a Luxury
For many women and girls living in underdeveloped and low-income communities in Pakistan, basic hygiene products are not necessities they can easily afford; they are luxuries.
Soap, sanitary pads, handwash, sanitizer, and other essential hygiene items can make a significant difference in a woman’s health, confidence, dignity, and daily life. Yet poverty, limited access, and lack of awareness continue to leave many women and girls without these necessities.
For girls, the consequences can be especially serious. Without access to appropriate menstrual hygiene products and safe sanitation facilities, many girls experience discomfort, embarrassment, and missed days of school during menstruation.
Our Fundraising Progress
Our project has a $30,000 fundraising goal.
So far, we have received $40 from 2 donations, with $29,960 still needed to reach our goal.
We are deeply grateful to the donors who have already supported this effort. However, the need is far greater than the support received so far. Many women and girls are still waiting for the basic hygiene supplies they need to live healthier and more dignified lives.
The Challenge
In vulnerable communities, poverty often forces families to prioritize food and other immediate needs over hygiene products.
Women and girls may have limited access to:
These challenges can increase the risk of hygiene-related infections and other health problems. Social and cultural stigma can also prevent girls and women from openly discussing menstrual health or seeking support.
For a young girl, missing school because she does not have adequate menstrual hygiene supplies can mean falling behind in her education. Repeated absences can gradually affect confidence, learning, and future opportunities.
Our Solution
Moses Welfare Foundation aims to provide essential hygiene kits to women and girls living in underdeveloped and low-income areas of Pakistan.
The kits will include essential items such as:
Soap • Handwash • Sanitary Pads • Sanitizer • Facewash
Alongside these supplies, the project will provide awareness sessions focused on personal hygiene, menstrual health, safe hygiene practices, and disease prevention.
This combination of practical support and education can help women and girls protect their health while building healthier habits that continue beyond the project.
More Than a Hygiene Kit
A hygiene kit may look simple, but for a woman facing poverty, it can represent much more.
It can mean protection from infection, dignity during menstruation, greater confidence, and the ability to participate more fully in everyday life.
For a schoolgirl, access to menstrual hygiene supplies can help remove one barrier that keeps her away from the classroom.
For mothers, better hygiene knowledge can also benefit the health and wellbeing of their families.
Long-Term Impact
Our goal is not only to distribute hygiene products. We want to help create lasting awareness and healthier communities.
Through hygiene supplies and education, this project aims to:
Over time, improved hygiene practices can contribute to better health, stronger participation in education, and greater empowerment for women and girls.
We Still Have a Long Way to Go
With only $40 raised toward our $30,000 goal, this project remains critically underfunded.
Behind this fundraising goal are women and girls who should not have to choose between basic hygiene and other household necessities.
Every contribution can help us reach another woman or girl with essential hygiene supplies and life-changing health education.
Help Restore Health and Dignity
Your support can help provide a woman or girl with something many of us take for granted: the basic ability to manage her hygiene safely and with dignity.
Together, we can help women and girls feel healthier, safer, more confident, and empowered to participate fully in their communities.
Give dignity. Protect health. Empower women and girls.
Every hygiene kit is more than a collection of supplies; it is a message that every woman and every girl deserves to live with health, dignity, and hope.
