Dear Friends ,
Thank you for your support and your donations. The project has been successfully achieving results and the loan of Pak Rupees 60,000 ($580) has been given to the group of 3 women in the new target area of Tehsil Samundri of District Faisalabad. AWARD Pakistan is going to give another loan in the month of october to the group of 3 women in Tehsil Samundari/ District Faisalabad.
The previous group of women after taking the loan started growing the capsicums (Green Peppers) and later Ladyfingers and Round Gourd . These vegetables are very popular and frequently consumed all over the country during the Spring-Summer Seasons. The group has successfully sold the green peppers, ladyfingers and the round gourd in the nearest vegetable market and are very much satisfied with the profit margin. The beneficiaries managed to earn 20000 PKR (190 USD) each after selling out the Capsicums and the other vegetables. The have again started a new batch of these vegetables again.
The Group is excited and is expecting a good profit at the end of the season .After achieving the desired results AWARD Pakistan is distributing another loan of PKR 60,000 among the women groups as it has already selected a group after receiving several applications from the women groups in its target areas.
We request all our donors and supporters to help AWARD to reach its target and to help promote the Vegetable Farming amongthe poor women to support them.
