Dear donor,
For the school term 2021-2022, 8697 female and 4686 male students received university scholarships. 1708 of these students started university this year.
Many of our high school scholarship students do not have the means to go to private university preparation courses and their success in university exams is not very high. Last year, we started a new Project called “from high school to university” partnering with Saryer Academy.
The female high school students in 12th grade and others who have graduated previously were accepted to these courses given by Saryer Academy and the study material already paid by Cydd was also supplied. For these on-line courses, Cydd also provided notebook computers to some students. This year we have seen incredible results of this Project and of the 2000 high school graduates , 662 female students were successful in the university exams and enrolled. 405 high school graduates of previous years were also successful . So a total of 1067 new female students started university this year.
This is a 38 % success rate that doubled the rate of previous years which on average was about 17%.
So thank you for supporting us and our projects…
Gratefully yours,
