As the 2024-2025 academic year begins, CYDD proudly continues its mission to provide scholarships to university students, helping them achieve their educational and career aspirations. Despite financial challenges, scholarships have been awarded to more than 15,000 university students this year, thanks to the invaluable contributions of our donors.

                   Total Scholarships Awarded: Over 15,000 students

• CYDD Headquarters: 9452 scholarships
• CYDD Branches: 6000 scholarships

Due to the necessity of doubling the scholarship fees last year, the number of new students receiving scholarships was limited to 2585. Of these, 848 students are girls who graduated high school with CYDD support.

The increase in scholarship fees has necessitated careful allocation of resources, limiting the number of new students we can support. However, with sustained donor contributions, we can continue to meet the growing demand and provide crucial assistance to students in need.

CYDD has given university scholarships to more than 65,000 students since 1995 and continues to give scholarships to 10,000 university students every year. The scholarship students are supported till the end of their education, which varies from 4 to 7 years.

CYDD also encourages these students to take part in various CYDD branch activities such as regular trips to Antkabir, to Çanakkale and to Afyonkarahisar to commemorate Atatürk, his war of independance and the foundation of the Republic. The CYDD students also volunteer to be in the Contemporary Youth Center Unit of each branch and organize summer camps and Youth Congresses together.

This year the 26th Türkan Saylan “Contemporary Youth” congress brought together, for four days,CYDD university students from all over the country to discuss and try to find solutions to the problems of young people through interviews, table workshops and trainings.

These events organized by the Youth Unit develop bonds between students from all over the country, increase their social and organizational skills, show them the importance of being participating and responsible citizens.
