Educate continues to grow and reach more young people in rural areas of Honduras. Currently, 43 secondary school students and 4 university students are beneficiaries of our Comprehensive Scholarship Program, which supports high-potential students from Trinidad and nearby communities.
Most of our scholarship recipients come from families earning below the Honduran minimum wage. More than 60% are girls and young women, who face not only economic barriers but also gender inequalities that limit their access to education. Thanks to your support, these young people can continue their studies at public secondary schools and universities, paving the way toward a future with more opportunities.
But at Educate, a scholarship means much more than financial support. Each student receives comprehensive accompaniment that includes:

Youth Empowerment with Creativity and Expression
In 2025, Educate continues to grow and strengthen its youth empowerment programs, providing more opportunities for young people to develop key skills through art and communication.
Art Program: EducARTE
Through EducARTE, 21 scholarship recipients and volunteers are developing their skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and community muralism. This program uses art as a medium for expression and social transformation, promoting creativity and critical thinking. Participants not only explore artistic techniques but also reflect on their surroundings, using art as a tool to raise awareness and build peace within their communities.
Communications Program: Joven Comunica
The Joven Comunica program has grown this year, with the participation of 8 young people who are strengthening their skills in digital communication, photography, writing, and audiovisual production. This space is designed to empower them to tell their own stories and shed light on the realities of their communities. Through workshops and hands-on projects, they develop skills in public speaking, creative writing, photography, and video/audio editing, becoming active storytellers and agents of change in their communities.

Jóvenes que transforman sus vidas con oportunidades
En 2025, Educate sigue creciendo y llegando a más jóvenes en las zonas rurales de Honduras. Actualmente, 43 jóvenes en educación secundaria y 4 jovenes Universitarios son beneficiarios de nuestro Programa Integral de Becas, el cual apoya a estudiantes con alto potencial provenientes de Trinidad y comunidades cercanas.
La mayoría de nuestros becarios provienen de familias con ingresos por debajo del salario mínimo hondureño. Más del 60 % son niñas y mujeres jóvenes, quienes enfrentan no solo barreras económicas, sino también desigualdades de género que limitan su acceso a la educación. Gracias a su apoyo, estos jóvenes pueden continuar sus estudios en institutos de secundaria públicos y universidades, abriendo camino hacia un futuro con más oportunidades.

Empoderamiento Juvenil con Creatividad y Expresión
En 2025, Educate continúa creciendo y fortaleciendo sus programas de empoderamiento juvenil, brindando oportunidades para que más jóvenes desarrollen habilidades clave a través del arte y la comunicación.
Programa de Arte: EducARTE
A través de EducARTE, 21 jóvenes becados y voluntarios están desarrollando sus habilidades en dibujo, pintura, escultura y muralismo comunitario. Este programa utiliza el arte como medio de expresión y transformación social, promoviendo la creatividad y el pensamiento crítico. Los participantes no solo exploran técnicas artísticas, sino que también reflexionan sobre su entorno, utilizando el arte como una herramienta para generar conciencia y construir paz en sus comunidades.
