Our edu-library project is underway! We have gathered many various items to fill our first library, including books, puzzles, blocks, Lego, play dough among others. There are currently 5 shelves in production that will be filled as soon as they are delivered.
These edu-libraries consist of a sturdy shelf filled with educational resources that will be distributed to various Early Learning Centres in the various underprivileged areas that we serve. The aim of these edu-libraries is to provide educational resources and tools for the children to development their fine-motor, cognitive and language skills.
Our hope is that these resources will also be able to be used by other children in the community, where they can come and learn in a safe environment with resources they might otherwise not have access to.
