Dear donors,
As you were told in the last report, the situation here is already difficult for us because of the closure of our centres. But this difficult situation has worsened with covid19.
Indeed, the pandemic arrived in Eritrea, as everywhere in the world, but fortunately it is concentrated only in the capital Asmara, nevertheless the authorities have decreed the lockdown all over the country.
This emergency is not only a health emergency but it is also becoming a social emergency: more and more families are in difficulty and need help especially to ensure food and care for their children. Although movements are limited because of the lockdown, our local partners are trying to reach these families anyway, in order to help them for the purchase of sheeps: only in this way we can be next to them in a concrete way!
Thank you for helping us to change life of many people, especially in this dramatic moment.
