By Lea Besancon-Matile | Beginning of the construction
Construction of the Sarame secondary school in Magugu has finally been brought forward to early June instead of July. A group of 6 French student volunteers, with a background in civil engineering, came to support the site.
The local team set up a real camp to enable the volunteers and workers to make progress on the construction without leaving the rural area.
In addition, other volunteers have come to Tanzania to carry out a mission of international solidarity, some in education, others in health to support a local hospital, in communication, in project management, or even in the environment to take care of irrigation and planting at the secondary school...
In addition, LifeTime Projects organized a Charity Gala in June to raise funds for the secondary school construction project. The gala was attended by 85 people and raised around €6,000.
