Dear donors,
We regret to inform you of the closure of our GlobalGiving project, ‘Providing a safe place for hepatic patients’. This project aimed to lend a hand to AETHA to raise funds for the maintenance oof their shelter homes/facilities for organ transplant patients’ relatives.
Unfortunately, not all of these families can afford to rent an apartment or stay in a hotel during this difficult time. AETHA's shelter homes have the purpose of providing a free-of-charge accommodation close to the hospital for the patient's family.
The overarching goal of our campaign was to help fundraise to reduce housing and healthcare costs for transplant patients. Despite our best efforts, the donations we received for this project were not sufficient to sustain it. We understand that this news may come as a disappointment to many of our supporters, and we want to assure you that we did not take this decision lightly.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our donors for their continued support and belief in our mission. Your contributions have enabled us to make significant impacts on the lives of those in need, and we are forever grateful for your generosity.
We assure you that we will continue make strides in organ donation and transplantation to work towards changing the lives of many, and we hope to have your continued support in our future projects.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
The DTI Team
