And Here Come More Education Books!!

Dear RAR Supporters and Friends,

I hope you are sitting down.....we have just printed and are distributing 1200 new education books for Romanian schools and community events!

We are planning to bring 500 books to Vatra Dornei to accompany our spayathon in May so that Roxana Pasat may continue her local education program for children, and sending 200 books to Anda Popescu in Moreni so that she may start her new program. The rest of the books will accompany the RAR Dream Team as we travel around Romania providing spayathons in Tecuci, Peasant Villages of Bucharest, Comanesti, Iasi, Suplac, Bistrita, Targoviste, Gherla and Reghin, so the they can be handed out to the local citizens.

Children and adults alike love these fun books that teach animal welfare, kindness and compassion. Education has always been a cornerstone for RAR, from the early days of our charity in 2003 when we produced coloring books thanks to children from Texas who designed them, to today when we have our lovely 20 page full color booklets. To date, 14,200 booklets have been printed thanks to donations from yourselves and others.

So hip hip hooray! And away we go with education, spay/neuter, veterinary care, and veterinary training in Romania!

Our wonderful education books have been sent to many more towns in Romania, including Vatra Dornei, Ramnicu Sarat, and Buhusi. We are giving an additional 100 books to our German friends for their project of animal welfare in Sighet, Romania. All this great help is thanks to you, our donors. I hope you can sustain the cost for us to print more educational books for Romania. The cost is $1.79 per book, twenty page full color interactive books that young and old enjoy!

The local Mayor and Priest are helping to educate too, inspired by the help of Romania Animal Rescue in their community!
