Thanks to the wonderful support from donors like you, we have now distributed 11,500 animal welfare books throughout Romania, and have just ordered 1500 more to be printed. The message of humane treatment of animals will reach both children and adults via schools, plays, community events such as fairs and festivals. The more people that we can educate, the less suffering of animals.....a win win for everyone!
The latest cities and towns that received our help are Cernavoda, Tecuci, Buhusi, and soon to be Craiova and Radauti.
It is our belief that education and spay/neuter are the most important ways to stop animal abuse and neglect. Please join us in our campaigns of help for animals in Romania. Thank you my dear friends!

10,000 Educational Booklets !!!
By Nancy Janes | President and Founder, Romania Animal Rescue
![100 education books went to Buhusi, Romania!]()
100 education books went to Buhusi, Romania!
Romania Animal Rescue has now printed a total of 10,000 educational booklets! In the past 3 weeks, 2000 were printed, 500 for use in Tecuci (a total of 2000 booklets have been distributed in the schools there now) and another 1500 for Save the Dogs project in Cernavoda, Romania.
The city of Buhusi, Romania, has asked us to give them 500 more booklets too now, and we hope to be able to do so. Attached is a video done by the students in Buhusi to announce our free spay/neuter campaign in their city. These students were so inspired by the educational booklets which we sent to them a few months ago and as a result did this great "flashmob" to bring awareness of animal welfare in Buhusi! They want to stress that it is no longer acceptable for dogs to be gunned down as a form of animal control. Thanks to the educational booklets they learned that spay/neuter is the way to go!
Each 20 page full-color booklet costs Romania Animal Rescue $1.83 to print. I hope you will continue to support this project for animal welfare education. The animals need our help so desperately.
Thank you very much!

Education Day in Buhusi School
Requests for our educational books are coming from various locations in Romania. The town of Buhusi was sent sample books and fell in love with them. We have sent them 100 books, and they would like an additional 200 if we can get them printed. Tecuci is another city that has requested more education books from us. They would like to have 500 books. Clubul Cainilor Utilitari has asked us for 100 - 200 books in their school project in Bucharest. We hope to help with these requests, as education is key to helping the animals. The 20 page full-color excellent books are interactive and fun, while teaching children and adults on animal welfare. The books cost 1.39 Euro each to print, or $1.83. We are requesting donations so that we may print 1000 new books. Please donate if you can for education in Romania!
