Winter is here and so is the puppy season of street dogs. We are getting so many calls for cases of puppies with ailments as well as injuries. The problem of street dog population can only be dealt with regular spay and neuter program. While we carry out a small scale project, it is a long battle for the dogs of our city. Through our ‘Animal Care on Wheels’ project, we treat all these helpless strays who are suffering from either seasonal diseases or victims of other threats like a road accident, animal abuse, cruelty, zoonotic diseases, etc.
Throughout the entire month of September our3 mobile clinic vans, fondly called A1, A2, and A3 are tried to reach and provided necessary treatment to each complaint they have received in this entire month. We have received total 1801 animals calls out of 70% of animals treated and rehabilitate back to their territory.
