Many greetings from BASS, India!
Thank you very much for your continued support to the project of BASS, which has been instrumental in making a significant impact on the lives of 150 children from three slum schools in Guntur district.
The children of the schools have benefited immensely from your contributions. We are extremely happy that we have been raised a total of US$ 434 from Global Giving USA in this quarter. This would be a good impact on our project and hope to get more donors in the coming days. We are very much happy that more number of new kind people joined and helping the project recently include with our continued supporters of our loving dear Mr. Erwin Franzen and Alf Monnesland. Thank you so much.
At present we gave summer vacation (Holidays) for the children from 5th May to 4th June 2014. We have conducted year end annual exams for all the children in April. About 35 children were promoted to further high school education. We would like to admit number new children in three schools now. Our care and education program has been very success in the slum localities so the cooperation and support from community has been increased.
We are also very happy to inform you that we are going to extend a new school with your support from June 2014 in a new slum called Nallakunta, Gutur. Where we have been found more than 50 children were identified as out of schools due to no educational facilities in this location. So we love to start a new school in this slum with a hope from you to get support for the project.
Moreover the new academic year will be starts from 9th June 2014. Therefore we need to provide basic educational supplies of learning material include reading books, note books as well as writing material, school bags, and new sets of uniforms to 150 children. And also we need to provide nutrition meal to the children. We hope the new academic year 2014-15 would be great success in the lives of 150 children with all your support.
