We created a record in February!

By Vasumathi Sriganesh | Founder

Last month we mentioned that one medical college had subscribed to our courses and one more renewed for a second year. At the end of the month, we had yet another medical college renew. This was indeed a record when three medical colleges signed up in the same month. We hope that the numbers increase every month!

The librarian at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences - Ms. Indira has made great efforts to see that many enrol. She herself has already had several sessions with us, engaging in search strategies for a systematic review that she is working on, with three physicians in her hospital. She has made sure that many of the medical college students sign up.

Interestingly last month we received a feedback from a medical student (from a different college) - Anish - saying that he enjoyed our first course, but it was a little too basic. We were very happy to hear that! It was good to know that a student actually knew most of what we taught in the first course.

And then he has finished all four courses in two weeks. One of our courses - Mastering PubMed - has an optional advanced module and he has completed that too! It is wonderful seeing such enthusiasm from an undergraduate medical student.

We do hope to share lots more such stories!

A request: Do gear up for our "Little by Little Bonus Day" in April. I will be sending an appeal closer to the date. If you donate between $10 and $50, QMed will get a 50% bonus for the amount! Do help us get a bigger donation from whatever you choose to give!
