Hello once again, dear Bab supporter :)
I am writing to you because your support of our Baba Residence has been timely so far and has allowed us to continue to make our rural-urban bonding initiatives come true. I hope winter finds you warm wherever you are, and having and creating occasions of peace and joy around you!
I HAVE IMPORTANT NEWS FROM OUR VILLAGE(S):
We are part of the GlobalGiving Giving Tuesday campaign TODAY - NOVEMBER 28, but we created a new project - HERE HERE HERE!
! All day every donation will be multiplied many times by the platform. The more donations, the more chances we have to raise the funds needed to realize a Baba Residence in Northwest Village!
Our request to you is to either support the campaign by donating TODAY (we have 24 hours) at our project link.
The larger the amount we raise, the larger the amount that will be donated from the GlobalGiving fund!
The focus of our donations from this campaign will be a month-long volunteer and artist residency at Baba's Northwest Village in 2024.
HOW YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP
We will invest the funds from the GivingTuesday campaign in the following activities:
providing food, overhead and transportation costs for at least 10 residents (young professionals from various fields and artists) and for local elderly hosts who will house them in their homes for 1 full month;
completion of the renovation works of the spaces for community and cultural events in the 6 villages where Baba Residence was this year - Koshava, Deleina and Sinagovtsi (Vidin region), Pavolche, Lik, Oslen Krivodol (Vrachan region).
/ Here you can also take a walk through a vibrantly illustrated map that Ioana from our team and artist Eva Markova made with some of the warm traces we have left in 19 villages with our Residence so far.And we'd like to continue despite everything!
