We are excited to share our first update on the journey to build the library in Jordan. Thanks to your early support, we have officially rented a dedicated space for the library, a milestone that transforms this project from a vision into a physical reality. Standing inside the space for the first time was incredibly meaningful for our team. What was once an empty room will soon become a welcoming center for reading, learning, and community connection.
Since launching the campaign, we have continued fundraising while also beginning to collect further book donations. Hundreds of books have already been gathered, covering children’s literature, educational materials, and the humanities. One of our earliest supporters donated a box of carefully selected books from her personal collection. She shared that many of the students around her have limited access to reading materials outside of school, and she believes this library will open doors for them to dream bigger and learn more confidently.
We have also begun designing the interior layout of the library. Our team is planning different reading corners, shelving areas for academic resources, and flexible space for small community workshops and study groups. The design focuses on creating a warm, inclusive environment where students and lifelong learners feel welcome and inspired. In the coming months, we will continue fundraising, expand our book collection, and begin preparing the space for shelving and furnishings.
Thank you for being part of the foundation of this project. Your support is helping turn an empty space into a place filled with knowledge, opportunity, and hope for the community
