As we were thinking of what update to share, and thinking of the climate of stress we feel lately from so much information about the pandemic, we thought it would be nice to share a great success story!
In August of 2018 we wrote a report about a young cat that was abandoned on our front door, who one of our then interns named Google Drive (Googy, for short) - As soon as we got her we took her to the vet to spay. She was very shy at first, but as she was cared after by one of our team members during her recovery, the two became best friends!
Googy was officially adopted by our team member and has been living with her for the past year and a half, but she comes back to SINAL very often so she can run around with her friends! We love it when we know one of our cats develops a good partnership with someone and goes off to a new adventure - and of course, we check on in on them regularly to make sure they are well!
Here is a picture of Googy from that report back in 2018, and a picture of her today in her home.
A big thank you to our donors for helping us keep our cats healthy and happy! we will do another round of spaying soon, so stay tuned to the reports!
