Hello, friends of Sinal!
This time around instead of writing a report about one of our cats, we write with some difficult news. We are currently working to contain an outbreak of Feline sarcoptic mange, also known as scabies.
Since currently care for 43 cats that like to run around outside, it is easy for them to spread around the occasional infection. We are having to allocate plenty of time and resources to isolate the cats, and treat them with medication and topical oinments, so the support of our donors is very much needed and appreciated!
We hope to report the full recovery of our feline community soon! for now, we will keep working treating them - fortunately, our staff is well trained in dealing with these situations.
A big thank you again to our donors who help us keep our stocks of medications at the ready!
