After an intensive recruiting season, we are excited that we have new USAP cohorts in Malawi, Uganda, and Zambia, all applying for admission and scholarship to begin studies in 2019.
USAP Malawi has recruited a group of eight students from the Zomba area in the Central part of the country who are finishing their high school this month. They have started preparing for SAT exams which they will sit in October to apply for admission to universities in 2019.
USAP Uganda has completed their selection for their first cohort of 8 students who come from all over the country but study at three top schools on bursaries. The USAP Uganda team, made up of USAP alum who returned to work in alumni, has met for their first bootcamp and are also preparing for SAT Subject Tests in June and SAT Reasoning in October.
USAP Zambia has selected their second cohort of 15, all who school in and around Lusaka, but include some boarding students who come from refugee camps and other parts of Zambia. They have just completed a weeklong bootcamp.
Thank you for your support of our expansion of USAP to these three countries by pledging funds to cover enrollment and program costs for them. #usaprocks
