Dear donor,
As we are starting the 2020 classes, we would like to report on what we have achieved during the 2019 fall term.
-We opened 73 new classes in 49 exisiting locations
-We enrolled 585 students,
350 of whom were new comers starting level 1 courses
129 students went on to level 2,and
106 students attended advanced level 3.
There is an ever increasing demand for the courses and most students move on to the next level. Level 3 students will probably be future computer engineers or programmers and we take pride in having kindled their curiosity and shown them the way to use their talent.
Former students from Izmir region have already formed a robotics team and received 2 awards in the FLL (First Lego League) tournement recently.
On the other hand, this autumn we have 180 coding trainers, all of them university scholarship students of CYDD, working with the 585 youngsters . We believe the experience they gain in working with children and teaching them coding in a fun way, will have great positive impact in their future careers.
We hope you will continue to support our project which has developed with limited resources but abundance of goodwill of our volunteers and donors.
With kind regards,
