Dear donors,
It's been only 2 years since we implemented the "KODLAMACA" computer coding project and we have already reached 1585 children in 180 courses in 41 locations and we trained 283 university students to be course instructors.
It is a huge success as we have done this all with volunteer university students as instructors, volunteer project implementers, donated secondhand computers and simple laptops purchased whenever we had funds available.
In 2019 we plan to continue our courses in 51 centers with 120 new classes and teach 1200 more youngsters computer coding.
As you will see from the attached map of Turkey, there are locations that are ready to start the courses with trained trainers and students but do not have computers. There are also locations with CYDD branches that have potential students (marked in gray) but no equipment and no trainers yet.
New laptop computers purchased for a location will be used in courses for years and many students will benefit over the years..
Your donations will help us to spread the project all over Turkey and even to reach remote villages and open up new minds to scientific thinking and modern education...
Thank you for supporting us..
Kind regards,
