Counselling for 300 children in Romania

Dear supporter, 

The tough times we are facing have been a learning curve for all of us. Unfortunately, the most affected are the vulnerable groups we are supporting. 

Ever since March up to current times, we have moved our counselling into online. This has had its advantages, giving us the chance to communicate quicker and more often with the children we support and their families. 

On the downside however, the pandemic has made it more difficult for vulnerable groups; with limited acces to internet or no digital devices, to ask for help. 

We are currently working our way through equipping children in need and their families with the neccesarry equipment to grant them access to digital tools and support them through the challenges they are facing. 

Our mission is still the same, yet facing even a bigger problem in the current climate. Yet, we are determined to stay and continue to support vulnerable children and their families! Unfortunately, the people who have the least, are the most foresaken! With your help, we will leave noone behind!

Dear Donors, 

Our life has changed and we are all in this together. The effects of the pandemic have touched each and everyone of us. However, vulnerable children are most exposed to the dangers of the crisis. Situations such as poverty, emotional trauma, rural isolation have become even more worrying now more than ever. 

Unfortunately, our work is based in an area that has become the biggest outbreak in the country. Schools have been closed and will continue to be closed for a while. 

We are working hard through these challenging times to refocus and readapt our strategy in order to support our children and make sure we minimise the impact that this can have on their well-being. 

Our team is working on not interupting their non formal education. We have adapted our communication and methods to serve these children, because they are our future. 

We can't do it alone. 

We make an appeal to our supporters to contribute alongside us, so that we can continue to support our children through these times.
