Counselling for 300 children in Romania

Dear donors,

Te Aud Romania is continuously improving and striving to provide orphans and disadvantaged children with opportunities to stop the vicious cycle they are in.

You play the most important part on our way to success. In my last project report, I was mentioning our personal development programme for 11 disadvantaged rugby players - as part of a sports bursary programme. I am proud to announce you that with help from our two main sponsors, DHL Express Romania & Banca Comerciala Romana - we have increased the number of bursaries we are offering this year to 20. The first meeting of our personal development programme took place last week. We are all looking forward to providing these children with the extra support needed - that they otherwise would not receive.

However, we cannot do this by ourselves. We would also like to continue our 1:1 counselling programme for other children - either orphans or from disadvantaged backgrounds . We have already identified children that would massively benefit from our 1:1 counselling programme. And to do that - we need your support.

Thank you so much for supporting our Counselling Project. We continuously work to give children the chance to RECOVER from trauma or emotional abuse they have suffered. At the same time, through our workshops, group counselling and personal development programmes we aim to help orphans and disadvantaged children integrate within their communities and help them contribute to a better society in the future.

Your contributions made it possible to provide children with 1:1 counselling. Since December up to now - our number of children that has been provided with 1: 1 counselling has been increasing.

We have also started a personal development programme for 11 diasdvantaged children part of the local rugby club  - to encourage them to perform better in school, overcome their emotional issues and give them a sense of group belonging.

The extra help is so wonderful for them, as it gives these children from very disadvantaged backgrounds, support with their education, which they usually would not receive.
