Happy New Year! all the best wishes for 2020!
We are off to a fresh start, working to help orphans and disadvanatged children in North East Romania. Our Counselling Programme is one of the most successful projects we have developed. We are still a long way from acquiring all the necessary tools and achieving our fundraising target, however this is not stopping us from continuing to help children recover from emotional trauma.
We have started 2020 by closing a partnership with a rural school in the area, to help 15 children that are at risk of school abandonment. The children are aged between 10-14 and all of them come from broken families. Due to their family situation and lack of education within the family, are at high risk of school abandonment.
Te Aud Romania, through its Counselling Programme, has developed an individualised group counselling programme to prevent these children from abandoning school.
The project starts at the end of January and will continue for a period of 3 months.
